For Zoey

My first digi-scrap features my main inspiration, Zoey. Who else? ;)

Credits: Layout from freedigitalscrapbooking.com, papers, etc. from www.shabbyprincess.com. Sorry I can’t remember where I got that font from, as I have so many.

Mixwit!

Another cool site!! Create your own mix tapes, old-school style, online with Mixwit – then share it on Facebook, Myspace, your blog, whatever! So badass, yo.

See my tapes at http://www.mixwit.com/sabete/ - I made one for Wayne so far. I think I found a new favorite web toy. :D

363.805349 days of parenthood

Her birthday is just next Friday. My baby will no longer be a baby. Well, not in age anyway. She’s walking more and has added words to her garbled vocabulary. Sometimes she really sounds like she’s talking. The newest one I’ve heard her say is “pretty.”

She’s been practicing for her party ….

Her great grandmother arrived a week ago to help her celebrate. She and Granny get along like two peas in a pod. I’ve even had the luxury of an afternoon nap since Granny came! It took Zoey two weeks to warm up to Ben, but she’s really turning into Granny’s girl.

I also posted a new video a few days ago of her laughing her head off at my dad. The faces he makes just might make you laugh too.

Something funny.

“Zoey finds her Grandpa hee-larious.”

Thanks to June inspiring me, I’ve been spending my nights playing with digital scrapbooking. I’ll post a few when I’ve finished. It’s hard when I’m looking at the clock counting down how much sleep I’ll still be able to get before my little early bird wakes up. She starts calling me to bed around 11 p.m. and won’t stay asleep until I bring her to bed with me. Ai adai.

Lastly, here’s a neat site called Wordle. It takes a bunch of words and turns them into a cloud. A neat one in the gallery was made from the Declaration of Independence. It’d make a neat T-shirt design. I made this from my deli.ci.ous bookmarks!:
