“Zoey and her Grandpa sing a song. She’s eight months old. Warning: They aren’t very good. But that makes it funnier.”

Free as a bird

Well, sort of. Remember that big news I alluded to earlier?

Tonight was my last night as assistant copy chief at the PDN. I resigned my post at the beginning of the month. I did it for a couple of reasons. Wayne’s upcoming deployment to Kuwait was the main one. My mom’s boss was another. My health was another. I learned so much from everyone there, and I am thankful for all the opportunities they sent my way. Being a manager, though stressful, was a great experience for me. I learned a lot about myself in the process.
I’ve decided to freelance in the meantime – copy editing and writing – at least over the next year. It’ll give me more time with Zoey, which she deserves.

So call me! Let’s hang out!=D
