i’ve got a new drug

I’ve become addicted to Bravo’s Project Runway. They were showing a marathon of reruns from previous seasons while I was rocking Zoey to sleep – and bam! – now I can’t stop. I’ve always wanted to learn to sew clothes, but haven’t been able to do it as of yet. This show just feeds that desire.

Anyway … why do I like it? The designers and judges are all so catty. It makes great TV. The challenges are usually interesting and pretty hard as well. Tonight they did menswear in a bit less than two days. Crazy!

I also like looking at reconstructed clothing at the craftster.org forum. Very cool stuff can be made from a regular T-shirt or an ugly island-print shirt.

Grr … somebody get me a sewing machine for Christmas.

flick: Beowulf

Beowulf is what animated film making was invented for. I have no gripes to share. I’ll just say this: Go see it! It’s hella freakin’ cool, man.

And the moral of the story? Men have always been the same – since ever since. Oh, and don’t have sex with monsters. It can only end bad.

just another lazy afternoon

Indulge me …
