Jessica asked me a while ago if I had seen the PostSecret blog, and I told her I’d heard of it but hadn’t visited. After that conversation, I went. And yes – I am now a tad obsessed. I bought the book. It’s often sad, sometimes funny, but always insightful and fascinating. The secrets these people share are mine a lot of the time. I’ve also discovered secrets I didn’t know I had until I saw them expressed by someone else. I find myself very tempted to make a few postcards of my own.

We’re all hiding a lot of the same fears, betrayals, fantasies, hopes, regrets, needs, and demons from one another. They are only secrets because we don’t say them out loud.
