Wayne.

This commitment-phobe will take baby-steps into the void with you …

…. So like, yeah. Wayne and I are totally an item. In case you hadn’t heard.

a BF? surely not!

I. Am. Tired. Of. School.

That about sums it up. I am so sick of UOG it’s beyond bearing. Example? I have been sitting at this desk for almost three hours trying to knock out a paper on Boethius’ influence on Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, especially the “Knight’s Tale.” I have no outline except the vague one in my mind and I have three sources from Questia. I was also torturing myself with this yesterday. Now – I know I have to meet Wayne in two hours to watch V is for Vendetta, but still I’m here procrastinating. And this thing is due tomorrow at 4pm.

I obviously don’t want to write this paper. And not even on a subconscious level, man. I just don’t feel like it. My scholarly inspiration is dried up. I am burned out. I need to graduate – stat. It’s comforting to know that I’m not alone – most seniors on the verge of graduating feel like jumping out of a window. Same as when we all wanted to change our majors sometime around junior year.

This is giving me a headache. I long for something different to be fed up with. Like a job. At least then they’d be paying me to bitch. And I could use the money. On shoes. Okay … enough complaining. Time to break out some grade-A bullshit and get this done.

postscript added 4 Apr 2006:
It WAS grade-A bullshit, thanks very much. Man, I totally rock at this school thing … procrastinator or not. ;)

I found a neat freeware program that makes CSS web albums as easy as pie. It’s called JAlbum and you can get it at jalbum.net. I’ve reuploaded all the oldies but goodies, as well as a few new ones: Christmas Dinner 2005, my Mardi Gras birthday 2005, a bunch of Two Weeks Notice pics from the Mannge Lounge days, and some Eve Swallowed revelry as well. Some of these are over at Flickr, but most are new to you.

So click on “Photos” in the header menu and check out the galleries.
