Looks like I’m not graduating this Spring. God dammit. Think more along the lines of Summer 2006. I’m so pissed off right now.

You see, boys and girls, the University of Guam requires you to have a certain number of credits to graduate. You have to have 55 general education credits (done), and then a certain number of credits for your major – mine is 36 (done). That adds up to 91. You also need 40 upper division credits (will be done by Spring). In total, I will have 120 at the end of Spring. That includes all they have asked of me in the catalog. But I can’t graduate. Because you need 124 credits to graduate. And that’s not me. Because I don’t have a minor. Being minor-less has put me in the unenviable position of having to add shit on now to make up for it. And yet – a minor is not required. But those credits are. Bastards.

I suppose I’m more mad at myself for poor planning and execution of my higher education. That’s what counselors are for, so Michelle reminded me. Counselor? What’s that? I’ve never even seen one of those. So now I’m gonna be adding classes tomorrow and taking one class over summer just so they can finally hand me that stupid piece of paper I’ve been slaving away for. *grrrr*
