And more new fluff. You never know when a bit of fluff will come in handy. By the way, nothing is ever really fluff – I’m an English major remember? Whether it’s music, poetry, literature, movies, or art – my job is to read into things. I think Lani should be one too. We went to the midnight showing of “Sinbad” last night, and when Sinbad put Marina’s hand on the ship’s wheel she said, “How phallic.” And I leaned over to her and said, “Are you a lit major?” She claimed it came naturally. She really should change her major to English when she gets back to school.
Rocky’s here for a visit! We’re getting the gang together for a night out on Friday – so we can spend some time with him before he’s gone again. I’ve been working on Maria’s baby shower vcd’s with Ronnie. Maybe I’ll put the cover image on the baby shower picture page. I’m thinking about it.
Ronnie uploaded her site to a new address again, so I updated my links. I’m downloading some baby shower video as I’m writing this. Ah .. memories. Oh, and I went thru some of my backup discs and put old news into a page for your viewing pleasure. The entries there date back over two years. Dude! Doesn’t feel that long …

I was watching “The History of Sex” on the History Channel last night (one of the five channels I actually watch) and I learned this neat fact – the word “sadist” refers to a person who gets off on the infliction of physical or mental pain on others and the term is derived from the Marquis de Sade (who liked to hurt and humiliate women during the 18th century). The term “masochist” refers to a person who gets off on being subjected to pain or humiliation, and is derived from Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, a German novelist. I don’t even want to think about what he was into.
