Looking down on the beach. This is the Ritidian Cut,
where many tourists drown due to strong currents.

The theory of the Star Cave (summarized from http://guam.org.gu/starcave/): The cave contains pictoglyphs dating from between 1000 and 1100 AD. The stellar explosion and formation of the Crab Supernova on July 4, 1054 are documented by the pictoglyphs as observed by Chamorro star navigators - this theory is supported by glyphs found in the Anastazi caves in New Mexico, and observations recorded by Chinese astronomers. The glyphs depict the observation of the supernova during a 7 minute solar eclipse on May 10, 1054, the location of the supernova (directly to the north of Orion) as well as the duration of the supernova formation (2 years).

The cave also contains a celestial navigation map and a lunar calendar.

These are only two of the many pictures I took in the pitch black Star Cave. My pictures are actually better than
the ones on the government's site - with deeper contrast and more detail.
